Zach Hearn

          Zach Hearn resides from Salisbury, MD who currently serves as a Board Chairman for Route 1 Sports with a huge passion for youth sports and serving the families of the community.

          Zach’s professional resume includes a variety of positions within sports with different companies. He started in sports at Crown Sports Center where he worked as a summer camp counselor, recreational soccer coach, and part time worker. He was also able to secure a position with the local minor league baseball team, Delmarva Shorebirds, for three seasons. Zach additionally had a stint with two independent professional soccer clubs, Baltimore Kings and Eastern Shore Impact, serving as a marketing coordinator, assistant general manager, and club coach of two youth teams. Upon graduation from Salisbury University in 2020, he completed an internship with DE Turf Sports Complex where he currently works full-time as the Programs Coordinator.

          Zach and his wife Alyssa currently reside in Salisbury, MD. With his previous participation and work experience in youth sports, Zach knows how important youth sports is for players, families, and communities. He intends to serve the R1S board with the best intentions to ensure Route 1 Sports keeps to its community outreach mission and that every player has the opportunity to play youth sports at any capacity.
